I was born and raised in the upstate area of New York in a small town called Alexandria Bay. As a child I spent my summers exploring the mighty St. Lawrence River and spending time on our family owned island. I received my BS in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2001.
After visiting Boulder on a cross country road trip that same year, I decided this was the place for me and moved here permanently one month later in October. Two years later, I married my sweetheart Hannah, and in August of 2004, I started my job as the new 5th Grade teacher at Superior Elementary, the greatest school on the planet!
In January of 2007, life took another dramatic turn when my wife and I welcomed not one, but two bundles of joy, our twins James and Eve. Now a year later, they run, climb, and, more often than not, fall. Along with our Border Collie/ Heeler Bodhi, we live in Louisville, Colorado. Every day is new and exciting, and I'm sure James adn Eve are having fun too. Colorado is truly for those who appreciate the outdoors, and we fall into that category quite easily. We love our home and our lives in great part because of the wonderful friends we have made at Superior Elementary School.
