A Touch of Hawaii
Hawaii is where I was born and raised and where I hope to return.
The beautiful, pristine mountains, aloha spirit of the people, tropical flowers galore, and rainbows that stretch from one end of the misty valley to the next – surely the pot of gold can be found there. I have traveled the world with my husband Cliff during his Air Force career. I have lived in Arizona, Nebraska (twice), Utah, Illinois (3 times), Guam, Germany, and Colorado. Each new location has brought new friends, new opportunities, and new adventures.
I have two daughters (Amy and Anne) and two dogs (Max and Eddy). I live in Niwot, a small town named after an Indian chief. My passions are reading a good mystery book, working in my yard, teaching, and hiking in the mountains with my dogs. My dream is to someday return to the land of aloha.
I have been teaching at Superior Elementary since 1998 and it has clearly been the best school that I have worked at. The aloha spirit lives here through a supportive community, great staff, and wonderful students.
