Hello! I am the part-time physical education teacher at Superior Elementary and have had the pleasure to work along side Mrs. Carty-Mullen for the last nine years there. I feel fortunate to be able to teach such enthusiastic students in a beautiful neighborhood where I also get to live.

I was born in Salzburg, Austria when my father was in the Army and moved every two years until I entered the eighth grade in upstate New York. I graduated from a college in New York known for its physical education teachers program (Cortland), and I hold a Masters Degree in health education from Russell Sage College, known for its health education teachers program. From New York to Oakland, CA and then to Boulder Valley, I have had the good fortune to teach elementary physical education for 22 years.

I have a terrific husband, David, who shares my love of the outdoors and travel. I also have a son who is off to college this fall (Vassar) who will no doubt participate in his passion, a cappella singing, while continuing to hone his speech writing and delivery skills.

With a near empty household, I hope to play more tennis, read more fiction, and plan the addition of elements to the PE curriculum that will focus student attention on the obesity epidemic that is swiftly enveloping our fair state.
