Fitness
Club
The Superior Elementary Fitness Club is designed to promote
habits of life-long physical activity in our students. Studies
show that if you repeat an activity 21 days in a row, it
becomes a habit. The changes you saw starting last
year reflect updated National recommendations for children’s
fitness.

Other P.E. News
Thank you First and Second Grade Families for supporting our
Bowling Party! From all accounts it was a great success.
The best story I heard for doing this again was that this event
gave students the chance to interact with other students that
they didn’t know very well-- and that they even cheered
each other on as they bowled! We could have a third/fourth
grade party too. Third and fourth grade parents—let
me know what you think. Let’s do it!
As for other nice ideas for getting together, a suggestion
was made to meet for ice skating next winter at the rink in
Louisville. I like cocoa. I’ll get the sign up sheet
ready . . ..
