I am a current Rock Creek resident as of July 2005. I received my BA in Law and Society from UC Santa Barbara. I completed my elementary education and special education license at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA in 1995. Prior to being a teacher, I was a swim coach for six years.

I began my teaching career in Seattle, Washington where I taught special education K-5 for three years. I then moved to Plantation, FL and taught special education K-3 for another 2 years. Before moving to the Boulder Valley School District in 2005 and working at Superior Elementary, I also lived a year in Brussels, Belgium and another year in Florence, Italy.

I am happily married to my husband, whom I met in high school and is now a professor at CU. We are the proud parents of three sons and one daughter, Michael, Alex, Jackson and Julia. We have a yellow lab named Max, two bunnies, and fish. I enjoy scrap booking, jogging, biking, swimming, reading, and traveling.
