I grew up in Ames, IA the youngest of 5 children.  My mother stayed at home and my father was a middle school/high school band teacher.   We would go on one big car trip with the family every summer.  My favorite memories are from time in northern Minnesota at our cabin on Cedar Lake. 
            I went to the University of Iowa for my BS and to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for my MS.  After I got married I moved with my husband to the suburbs of Chicago.  I’ve worked in some form of pediatrics since acquiring my speech/language pathology degree.  I’ve been in hospital, clinic and school settings.  I love the challenges and changes that my field has to offer.
