Whittier's Historic Landmark Designation

A letter written to Jim Williams, Deputy Superintendent of BVSD, by Polly McDonald, was approved before going to Landmarks Board and City Council. Whittier Historians, Rick Christie-Principal, Fran Bascom-Former Student, and Polly McDonald-Sponsor of Historians gave speeches at the Landmark Board Meeting and City Council before receiving approval to become a designated landmark in Boulder on August 19th, 1997.
