Once students felt happy with their sketch, they were asked to draw their animal on cloth with a sharpie and create a border pattern. Next, we painted the cloth with "earth tones" being careful not to paint oour animals so they will stand out! We finished them by stenciling gold patterns around our cloth on mounted black paper!
