....This WebQuest provides students with four experiences with variables. The purpose is to help understand how everything in history and in the present and future depends on our ability to identify and control variables. Through our actions we try to influence the outcome of our lives in a way that is favorable. On a small scale, it is no different than getting up tomorrow morning and choosing the color of your shirt. On a larger scale, it involves choosing how to stop global warming.
