Whittier International Exhibition, 2004

The Whittier International Exhibition celebrates the development and achievments of Whittier's 5th-grade class by showcasing who they are and providing an opportunity to make a difference in the world by supporting the effort to create a landmine-free world! Please join us!

Kick-off Event

When: Friday, May 21, 2004 7:00pm
Where: Dairy Center for the Arts, 2590 Walnut St, Boulder (Map)

Events:

  • Students’ graduation ceremony
  • Multi-media presentations by students (dance, theater, music)
  • Music by Sally Taylor and Something Underground
  • Introduction of Tranquility Project
 

Exhibition Day

When: Saturday, May 22, 2004 10:00am – 2:00pm
Where: Whittier International School, 2000 Pine St., Boulder (Map)

Events:

  • Student projects and presentations
  • Student-created games
  • International food
  • Live music by Sally Taylor, Something Underground, and Saca Bunda (a Latin jazz band featuring a Whittier parent)
  • Tranquility Project presentation
  • Whittier student band and orchestra performances
  • Farewell messages from mayor Will Toor, Crystal Gray (Whittier Neighborhood Association), and Julie Phillips (school board member).

All proceeds will go to the Tranquility Project.
